We run approximately a 55 head beef cattle herd here on Tanglefoot Ranch. We say there are approximately 55 of them because they breed and calf all on their own,the numbers are constantly changing.
Our beef is pasture raised across our 1000 acre farm, we manage and rotate pastures as needed. Hay is supplemented over the winter and right now we are grain finishing them- Grover loves the taste of grain finished beef! However, due to budding consumer interest, we are exploring the possibility of grass finishing some of our beef cattle for those that want a grass fed and grass finished beef product.
